The School-Based Day Treatment Program is comprised of one or more Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) placed within each school to provide support for identified students who display deficits in social, emotional, and/or behavioral skills. The QMHPs develop an Individual Service Plan (ISP) with the student and their family to address the presenting issues in the school.

Additionally, the school-based QMHP works in collaboration with school administrators, guidance counselors, teachers, and other appropriate school personnel to monitor and improve the student’s behavior, attendance, and academic performance as well as provide crisis intervention in order to help maintain a safe environment.
