Shardae Washington, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist. She has a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She obtained her Bachelors in Psychology at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Ms. Washington is a clinical supervisor and therapist for Therapeutic Interventions for several years. She has also had experience with outpatient therapy in the Therapeutic Interventions Hampton office. Ms. Washington has worked with adolescents, adults, families and couples to provide a safe environment to openly communicate, explore and address their concerns and successes. She has experience with working with clients and families with major depression, ADHD, PTSD, and many other major diagnoses. She is a caring and compassionate therapist who works diligently to support and guide her clients through their journeys of life. She also has a passion for providing trainings focusing on the African American community and on increasing the therapist’s self-awareness in their work with clients as well as writing perspective pieces on the therapeutic community and social issues.
